BUFFER THE ROBOT

About Buffer the Robot
Hey, Hi, Hello!! I'm Larry. I'm an Artist from the United States. I studied Conceptual Sculpture in Pennsylvania. I have a passion for Art, Technology, and Trees. I Love to share my passions and I Love to learn. In the Summer of 2016, while living among the mighty Redwood Trees in Northern California, I built a little wooden Robot. I named it Buffer the Robot. This character came to represent my passions and I use it to inspire conversations about the Future. I brought this project to the Island of Oahu at the beginning of 2017. Over the years this project has evolved into an ongoing Social Art Experiment that focuses on Community Outreach through Art and Education. By introducing this little wooden Robot to people I have been blessed with countless opportunities to share my passion for Art, Tech, and Trees with an ever growing community near and far.
Meet Buffer the Robot, the world's first organic wooden Robot! Locally sourced, sustainably produced, and made with Love and Aloha. He's made from trees and he comes from our, not too distant, future! He's from a time when people and Robots live side by side and work together with the plants and animals to build a better, healthier future for the whole planet, galaxy, and beyond! Buffer doesn't want your job, he just wants your heart. Please join me and help support Buffer the Robot while we spread our hopeful message about the future and encourage people to consciously use our tools and resources with our hearts. We're all in this together! Adopt your very own time-traveling Robot and join an adventure filled with Art and Science that glows with Love and Laughter. Thank you for playing along!
Big hearts, Larry!
